For shoppers
What is a GivdCard rechargeable NFC gift card?
A GivdCard is a real, physical NFC gift card you buy at the counter or online from one of our merchants. You use the same card over and over — top up whenever you want and tap at checkout. Balance never expires.
Do I need an app to use my card?
No app needed. Tap the card on the merchant's NFC reader at checkout; your balance updates instantly. The GivdCard shopper app (coming soon) will let you check balance, top up, and find nearby merchants from your phone.
Does my balance expire?
No. Your GivdCard balance never expires. The card itself is yours for life.
Can I top up my card at the merchant?
Yes. Top up at the merchant — at the counter, with the till, or via the merchant's own channels. Once topped up, the new balance is added to your card and ready to tap.
What if I lose my card?
Contact the merchant where you bought the card. They will cancel the lost card and issue a replacement with your balance transferred.

How does GivdCard for Business work?
GivdCard for Business is your operations platform for rechargeable NFC gift cards. Order custom cards, customize them with AI, track production, run transactions, scan to redeem at the counter, and analyze income and loyalty impact.
How long does it take to launch?
Most merchants launch in 2-4 days from kickoff. We handle card ordering, design, reader setup, and staff onboarding. Larger enterprise rollouts typically take 6-8 days.
How does AI card customization work?
Bring your brand vibe, palette, or logo. GivdCard generates on-brand card designs you can iterate until you approve. Approved designs go straight to the production queue.
How does scan-to-redeem work at the counter?
Your team taps the buyer's NFC card on a standard NFC reader at checkout. The balance is deducted instantly and the transaction syncs to the dashboard in real time. Works offline, syncs when back online. Anti-fraud checks on every tap.
What does the transactions ledger show?
A full real-time ledger of card issuance, sales, top-ups, redemptions, refunds, and chargebacks. Filter by event type, export to CSV, or stream via API.
How do you measure loyalty impact?
Gift-card revenue vs. baseline, repeat-visit lift among cardholders, top-up frequency, average balance, customer LTV delta, and cohort breakdowns — all in the analytics dashboard.
What does pricing look like?
Per-card issuance fee plus a monthly platform fee, scoped to your volume and locations. Request a meeting and we will tailor a plan.

Where is GivdCard available?
GivdCard is currently available in Egypt. We're building the easiest way for merchants and shoppers to buy, sell, and redeem gift cards, with support for more countries coming soon.
Is GivdCard available in Arabic?
Yes. The GivdCard site, dashboards, and shopper app are available in both English and Arabic.
